Fuquay-Varina, NC: On November 29th the town of Fuquay-Varina will hold their annual Christmas tree lighting at 6:00 pm at the Main/Vance St. parking lot. There will also be choir singing and a visit from Santa! Cary, NC: From November 29th-December 1st the Cary Academy Holiday Shoppe will be returning to the Sports and Education Annex on the Cary Academy Campus. 100 vendors will be set up here. Wendell, NC: Lake Myra Christmas Light Show will be returning November 21st until December 31st. It will feature more than 400,000 dancing lights which are synced up with holiday music. Shows will last between 30 and 45 minutes. Wake Forest, NC: Piper Lights will be returning November 23rd and will be on display until January 3rd recurring daily. Raleigh, NC: The Oak & Dagger Public House in Downtown Raleigh has live music every Thursday from 8:00-10:00 pm until December 27th. Along with live music they have have drink specials all day long. The 74th annual Raleigh Christmas Parade will be held on November 17th at 9:40 am. This is the largest Christmas parade between Washington D.C. and Atlanta and will last about 2.5 hours.
