February 4th-10th

February 4th:
The town of Carrboro is hosting their Black History Month event from 6:00-9:00 pm at the Carrboro Century Center. You will be able to listen to a presentation given by retired Orange County Chief Public Defender James E. Williams. Admission is free and there will be light refreshments served.

February 6th:
Morehead Planetarium & Science Center hosts Yoga Under the Stars every Wednesday until February 13th from 6:00-7:00 pm. This event is in partnership with Carrboro Yoga Company.

February 8th:
Art Therapy Institute is hosting 2nd Friday ArtWalk: Bulls By Their Horns from 6:00-8:00 pm. This week artist Fabrizio Bianchi will be featured. He has been painting for 30 years, and his work has been featured in many venues across the Triangle. 

Hillsborough's Family Valentine's Day Dance will be held at Central Orange Recreation on February 8th from 6:00-8:30pm. Pre-registration is required!

The UNC Visitor's Center is holding their Priceless Gem Tour on February 8th at 3:00 pm. This tour, given by Robert Porter, will highlight the African-American history of the University.

February 9th:
Family & Friends Valentine's Tea will be held at Burwell School Historic Site from 3:00-4:30 pm. Seating is limited so make sure to register soon!

February 10th:
Looking for a laugh? Come out to King Street Bar for The Sunday Show stand-up comedy from 7:00-8:30 pm. This month will feature Lauren Faber, 2018 StandUp NBC Semi-Finalist.
